About Warranties...
All generator manufacturers, without exception, require at least yearly maintenance to keep the warranty valid.

Warranty begins upon successful start-up and activation of the unit.
It’s essential to understand the specific terms and conditions for your generator model.

While warranty covers product defects, it does not cover the cost of maintenance.

Regular maintenance is your responsibility to keep the generator in good condition.
“Setting up a planned maintenance schedule and performing routine tests will ensure generator availability on demand”.

Things not covered by warranty:
Costs of normal maintenance (e.g., oil changes, filter replacements).
Damage due to accidents, improper storage, or improper installation.
Use of improper fuel or non-Generac parts.
Rust on enclosures after the first year.
Damage caused by abuse, neglect, or rodent infestation.
Rental equipment during warranty repairs.
Modifications without Generac authorization.
Starting batteries, fuses, light bulbs, or engine fluid.
Additional costs for overtime or holiday repairs.

Consult your generator’s user manual for specific guidelines.
Regular maintenance is crucial to ensure your generator remains reliable and to maintain its warranty coverage.
